Alabama State Board of Midwifery Background Check Site
For the safety of your clients and to protect the integrity of the Midwife profession, all applicants are required to undergo a criminal background check. Your background check will be conducted in a manner that respects your privacy and complies with both state and federal regulations.
You must include where you lived for the previous 7 years. Depending on the results, a second step of this process may be required in a particular county court. If this is the case, the Alabama State Board of Midwifery will contact you. You will be directed to submit an additional background check request for one or more counties.
You will be required to pay the background check fee. Please have a credit card ready.
